Mushroom & Pepper Steak Filled Pancakes

Whether it’s rainy or not, these pancakes are an absolute winner.

INGREDIENTS
Mushrooms, one packet, sliced
Steak, braaied and cut into thin slices
Butter, 2 tablespoons
Pancake Batter
Oregano, a dash
Thyme, a dash
Olive Oil
Salt, to taste
Pepper, 1 tablespoon
Flour, 2 tablespoons
Cream, 1 cup
Beef Stock, 1/2 cup
Garlic, 2 cloves
METHOD
Before braaing the steak rub it with olive oil and salt. And season it generously with ground black pepper. Braai and cut into thin slices.
Melt the butter in a pot, add the mushrooms and herbs and cook until done. Add the garlic and cook for another minute. Add the flour, stir and cook for another minute. Add the beef stock and mix well. And the ground black pepper, don’t hold back. Add the salt and the cream and heat thoroughly. Add the beef strips. and remove from heat.
Make the pancakes. Add filling to one halve and fold close. Add grated cheese on top for extra deliciousness.
