Mustard Cream Chicken

MUSTARD CREAM CHICKEN
 
This is an absolutely define recipe. It tastes like chicken mustard creamy heaven.
 
INGREDIENTS
5 chicken breasts
2 tablespoons honey
1 onion, chopped
3 carrots, chopped
olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
1/2 cup white wine
125ml cream
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1/2 cup chicken stock
2 teaspoons mustard powder
salt & pepper to taste
1 tablespoon dried thyme
Veggies (any you like, I used green beans and cauliflower)
 
METHOD
Heat the olive oil and butter in a deep pan. Add the onion, carrots and thyme and cook for 5 -6 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for a further 2 minutes. Add the chicken breasts and cook until 95% done, remember to turn the breasts a few times. Add the garlic while cooking the chicken and the mustard powder.
 
Add the wine and cook for a few minutes. Mix the mustard and honey into the chicken stock and add to the pan. Add the veggies and cook until the veg is cooked and the sauce has thickened. Add the cream and let it simmer. Serve.
