Great with steak, potatoes or any veg.
60 ml Butter
60 ml Cake Flour
250 ml Milk
250 ml Beef Stock
45 ml Freshly Ground Black Pepper
60ml Parmesan (4 tablespoons)
Melt butter in a saucepan and stir in the flour. Let it sizzle for 2/3 minutes. Add milk and stock whisking continuously. Remove from heat and add the Parmesan and black pepper and stir well.
Return to heat and bring to the boil, whisking until smooth and thick
