This is delicious and easy. A delicious recipe that substitutes a portobello mushroom for a pizza crust.
Large portobello mushroom, stem removed
Pizza base sauce/ Marinara sauce
Your favourite pizza toppings (Pineapple, bacon, feta, salami, peppers… whatever)
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees C.
Mix a little olive oil and crushed garlic together. Place the mushroom on a baking sheet and brush the insides the the olive oil mix. Bake for 5 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove from the oven, and spread the sauce in the cup of the cap. Top with your favourite pizza toppings and cover with grated mozzarella cheese.
Bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and golden.
